Wow.

If you cannot manage to “get” the ending of LOST, how did you manage to sit through 6 seasons? This is one of the least confusing arcs and certainly the most blatantly laid out by the writers.

The island isn’t purgatory. They didn’t die in the plane crash. The island and the show were actual events.

The alternate timeline is purgatory. The characters couldn’t move on. They needed to relate to those that they spent the best times of their lives with.

Everyone in the church meeting is dead, but there is no timeline to death. Boone and Shannon were there, Charlie too. But so were Hurley (the new Jacob), Kate, Sawyer, and having just died on the island, Jack. Some died at different times.

It was an amazing ending.

I whole heartedly LOLed.

Something tells me he knew this episode was shit and is enjoying the subsequent shitstorm.
